I don't have much time to write (as I was not expecting to get internet), so I did not have a blog post prepared! But here are a couple of prayer requests:
1. The Joint Winter Conference starts tomorrow; three days of students hearing the gospel and spending time with the Wits student leaders and CCPers. Please pray for strength and perseverance for our team and that lives would be changed by the gospel. Also, please pray for Andrew Holbrook, who flew in last week and is going to be speaking at the conference.
2. Pray for our team, as some of us are still under the weather. It's starting to get a bit colder out and I think it makes it really hard for people who are sick to completely heal.
3. Pray for a new believer, a girl named T. She prayed to receive Christ on Wednesday, and then we only were able to spend one night with her before she returned home. Pray that when she returns to Johannesburg she surrounds herself with community so she can continue to grow in her faith.
4. Pray for our team as we begin to make the transitions to come home. It is going to be really difficult to leave this place, because for many of us we know there is not a great chance that we will return. We have made a lot of amazing friends and shared wonderful experiences with the people here, and it will be hard to say goodbye. Pray that when we return home we will reflect on our time here and that it provides us with a renewed fervor to take the gospel to our own nation and campuses. We know that while there is much work to still be done here, there is much work to be done at home too.
We are thankful for you all, and will see you in a week and a half!
